We take technology and skill transfer forward. That’s how we fuel the future.
Egina is a key project for Total in Nigeria, where we partner with international companies and local contractors. With this partnership, we have brought our expertise and experience, and have also been able to increase local collaboration in our operations. Projects such as Egina empower Total to further demonstrate its true commitment to a better future, and better energy.

We take technology and skill transfer forward
Egina is a key project right now for us at Total in Nigeria. So much so, that we have brought together various international and local contractors. Together, we create shared value. We bring our expertise and experience to not only build, but also increase local inclusion in our operations. This means that from the basic engineering and throughout the project life, Egina is a real opportunity to foster knowledge sharing and skill transfer in-country and sustainably maximise Nigerian contractors’ participation.
We’re working together for better energy
By sticking to our 3P Commitment – Promote, Perform, Project – we have been able to advocate and set up high quality standards in all project activities, thereby advancing local collaboration and ensuring lasting values for today and tomorrow. Egina is the first project launched since the Nigerian Content Act in 2010, thus we have challenged ourselves to develop a project fully defined and managed in Lagos, Nigeria. Projects such as Egina empower Total to further demonstrate its true commitment to a better future, and better energy.
